It is counting the clicks on the digital information displays at the booth which will then be converted into money to be donated to the Future for Bisso organisation (www.future-for-bisso.org) at the end of the fair. Bisso is a small village in the tropical rainforest of Cameroon where the organisation has already set up a school and a kindergarten. There are also plans to add a clinic. “At Norka we want to ensure that the school and the clinic are properly lit”, said Dr. Claudius Noack, Head of Technology at Norka. The donation will go towards a small solar power supply system for the village. Norka of course is providing not only the funds but also its own lighting systems. As an expert in lighting under diffi cult conditions, the company is sending luminaires to Bisso that will provide stable and reliable service in the extreme humidity and heat of the rainforest. It can be used as an equivalent replacement for convention- al outdoor luminaires from 80/125 W HME to 50/70 W HST, but the possibilities go beyond like-for-like replacement. When the luminaire is being installed on site the customer can decide on the best luminous flux for the particular situation. No tools are required. Subsequent changes to the lumi- nous flux can be made at any time. The in- tegrated universal pole mounting enables the luminaire head to be mounted either on top of poles or at the side of poles. In keeping with modern archi- tecture which is often dominated by monochrome colours, the manufacturer offers black surfaces in addition to the classic silver and white profiles. The colour black is something special because you don’t expect it to work with translucence. When switched off, the entire profile looks like a black divide while the cover lights up uniformly when the light is switched on. There are different profile shapes in two, three and five metre lengths to choose from, each of which can be equipped with the Proled Plastic Cover Flat Black in lengths of up to three metres. To meet these requirements Comatec has developed the new PSH power supply series. The EN60335 standard places particularly high demands on the plastic components used in that they have to have GWFI values of at least 850 °C. The standard also requires double protective im- pedance and large creepage and clearance distances between the primary and second- ary circuits. Ob als Ontero XR Strahler zur Stromschienen- montage, als Halbeinbauleuchte Intara XR oder als Pendelleuchte Pendiro XR – die XR Serie verbindet Hybrid-LED-Licht- technik mit einer breiten Auswahl an Lichtverteilungen sowie LED-Standard- und Spezial lichtfarben.
